TONY LEPAGE

Originally from Fredericton, New Brunswick, Tony is an accomplished actor, writer and producer whose work has been seen all over the world, across Canada and on Broadway.  Tony made his Broadway debut in the smash hit Rock of Ages where he understudied and performed all 8 male characters, the only person in the history of the show to do so.  Most recently, he was a member of the original Broadway company of the Canadian musical, Come From Away, and can currently be seen in the role of Kevin T/Garth and others in the Apple TV+ live capture.  Select international theatre acting credits include: Andrew Lloyd Webberʼs Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat international touring company (Simeon), The Boy From OZ (understudy to Australian musical theatre superstar Todd McKenney in the lead role of Peter Allen). In Toronto: Urinetown (TYT), Breaking Up is Hard to Do (Stage West), Seussical (Lorraine Kimsa Theatre), Canadian Explosion (Stage West Calgary) as well as a return to Fredericton as Frankenfurter in The Rocky Horror Show (Theatre New Brunswick). Locally, he was be seen in numerous productions including Starting Here, Starting Now, The World Goes Round, The Fantastiks as well as theatre troupes like Brunswick Spirit and The Calithumpians. In 2009, Tony landed the role of a lifetime, and had the rare opportunity to work closely with world renowned composer Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber, originating the lead role in Webber’s new musical The Boys in the Photograph, co-written and directed by Ben Elton. Shortly afterwards, he was cast as a member of the Original Canadian Cast of Rock of Ages in Toronto. Select film credits include South Pacific (Disney) and The Greatest Showman (Grammy Award winning vocal ensemble).  In addition to his esteemed acting career, Tony is a writer and is currently working alongside the Grammy Award winning band Air Supply on his new musical Sweet Dreams. He is the co-author of Oswald, a new musical which had its’ stage premiere in 2019 in Dallas, Texas for a sold-out run.

COURTNEY

COURTNEY HAMMOND

Originally from Orlando, FL, Courtney is an actor, casting director, producer and coach.  She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from NYU Tisch School of the Arts and as an Equity actress she worked regionally, toured internationally, sang on cruise ships and even co-hosted a live game show on Nickelodeon. Select acting credits include Legally Blonde the Musical! (Elle Woods) for both Connecticut Repertory Theatre and Norwegian Cruise Lines, Rock of Ages (Sherrie), Priscilla Queen of the Desert (Marion), Cabaret (Sally Bowles), Burn the Floor (Principal Vocalist), Footloose (Ariel) and Lovers (Jolie *Outstanding Leading Actress in a New Musical Nomination - MITF). Courtney began her casting career with an apprenticeship with Eisenberg/Beans Casting in NYC. While at E/B Casting, she had the pleasure of working on projects for Folger Theatre, Dallas Theatre Center, Broadway in Chicago, Bedlam Theatre Company, Ivoryton Playhouse, Norwegian Cruise Line, various SAG indie features. In 2018 Courtney made her Broadway casting debut with Gettin’ The Band Back Together. As a casting director at Wojcik Casting Team in NYC, Courtney worked on the Jesus Christ Superstar 50th Anniversary Tour, Rent 20th Anniversary Tour, Kinky Boots for Norwegian Cruise Lines, various developmental works and many regional theaters including seasons at Riverside Theatre (FL), John W. Engeman Theatre (NY), Tuacahn Amphitheatre (UT), Arvada Center for the Arts (CO), Theatre Aspen (CO), Stages St. Louis (MO) and Theatre Raleigh (NC). Courtney is a passionate coach and teacher and is regularly invited to teach throughout New York City and around the country at colleges and universities. In 2020, she had the pleasure of working with the musical theatre students at St. Thomas University in addition to producing and starring in the staged reading of Sweet Dreams at the Fredericton Playhouse.  www.courtneyhammond.com

Michael Doherty is an Atlantic Canada and Toronto based composer, sound designer, music director and multi-instrumentalist. Recent credits include; Cabaret (Theatre St. Thomas); Shrek, Urinetown (Canadian College of Performing Arts); Matilda- the musical (An Impulse Production); Kamp (Eastern Front/Neptune Theatre); Fall Out, The Forest in my Room (Neptune Theatre);The Penelopiad, The Wedding Singer (St. Lawrence College); Goodbye Marianne, A Herman Tale, Marion Bridge, The Space Between, Vigil, You Play Beautifully, A Christmas Carol (Theatre New Brunswick); The Wizard of Oz, Beauty and the Beast, Shrek, The Drowsy Chaperone, Guys and Dolls (Theatre New Brunswick Theatre School); Armstrong’s War, It’s a Wonderful Life, Hockey Dreams, For Life, A Christmas Carol, Red, Miracle on 34th St. (Sudbury Theatre Centre); Rearview (Le Theatre du Nouvel-Ontario); Grace Notes, Angel’s River, Model Wanted (The Notable Acts Theatre Festival) Michael was the artist in residence at both Theatre New Brunswick and The Sudbury Theatre Centre.​ Michael is the composer and co-lyricist of two full length musicals; A Christmas Carol adapted with Caleb Marshall and For Life with Norm Foster. He is a multiple Merritt award (Theatre Nova Scotia) nominee and winner. He was honoured with the musician’s achievement award at the East Coast Music Awards in 2008 and received the Playhouse Honours award from the Fredericton Playhouse in 2014.

​As an educator Michael has spent 20 years as an instructor with the Theatre New Brunswick theatre school. He has also taught, sound designed, composed and music directed within the drama departments of The Canadian College of Performing Arts, Dalhousie University, St. Thomas University, University of New Brunswick and St. Lawrence and Sheridan Colleges.
